Why we love this piece.
Everything about this piece is fabulous. From the repurposed drawer and door faces to the updated pulls, this piece would be right at home in an entry hall or along a large empty wall.
What we've been up to...

The Princess Dresser
Unearthed on one of Pam's many "junking jaunts", this dresser is shaping up to be a unique piece with a lot of FairOakes flair. A quilt handmade years ago by Pam's aunt Kathy (of Donie Oakes fame!) inspired the color scheme for this project. (You'll soon learn that we LOVE quilts at FairOakes Sisters!) We envision this piece in a space fit for a princess. Can you imagine all of the {magic princess-tutu dancing-dress up in mom's heels-is this how you put on lipstick-costume jewelry adorned} memories could be made in a room like that? Check back soon to see the finished product in all its {FOS} glory!

Duck Egg Blue
Check out this piece Pam salvaged recently! The wheels on this secretary's desk tell us it's pretty old (JUST OUR TYPE!). The close up shot on the left hand side really shows the "Duck Egg Blue" color of the Annie Sloan chalk paint that Pam so brilliantly chose. It's one of our all time favorite colors-- soft, but stands out. Check back later for a look at the finished product!

Old stuff, new spot...
The beauty of having tons of cool vintage pieces around your house is that you can think outside the box and create a new look on a whim using the fab treasures you've collected along the way! When it comes to repurposing, Pam's the queen. Take this old schoolhouse chalkboard for example- it makes a great ottoman tray! Coupled with a few fall decorations and a magazine or two, this piece suddenly looks made for your ottoman or coffee table. When you visit our booth, you'll see tons of interesting items like this one. Snag a few and try mixing it up in one room of your house. It's a fun way to change things around when a new season rolls around!
